The CLI uses the same account system as the desktop app, so you need to log in after installation.

Download CLI

Download the CLI installer suitable for your operating system from the IMD website.

If your operating system is not on the supported list, try other installation methods or contact support.

Installation steps

Depending on your operating system, extract the installer or run the installation script. On macOS and Linux you may need to grant execute permissions.

After installation, run imd --version in the terminal to confirm successful installation.

Verify installation

Run imd --version or imd login to confirm the CLI is properly installed. If it says command not found, check the PATH environment variable.

If the version displays successfully, the CLI is ready to use.
