Create your first project

Create a new project, understand the folder structure, manage multiple projects, and adjust project settings.

A project is a folder on your computer. Select a folder that should contain your data work, outputs, and generated files for this project.

Use one project folder per real task or dataset family. This makes it easier to find version history, reports, and supporting assets later.

Use one project folder per real task or dataset family. This makes it easier to find version history, reports, and supporting assets later.

Project folder structure

Keep table files, reports, and assets in predictable locations. Table-changing work is tracked in History so it stays auditable without a separate output folder for cleaned copies.

Use one folder per project and avoid mixing unrelated datasets unless they are meant to be analyzed together.

Manage multiple projects

Open the project sidebar to see all projects. Click a project to switch to it. Close a project from the sidebar menu when you need to.

Keep each project folder separate so that reports, outputs, and assets are easy to locate and audit.

Project settings

Open project settings to rename the project, change the folder location, or configure default output paths.

If you change the project folder location, confirm that all reports and outputs still reference the correct paths.
