Clean data
Generate a cleaning plan
Learn how to create a cleaning plan, write plan steps, and edit an existing plan.
A cleaning plan describes the steps to modify the data table. Before data is actually modified, the plan helps you review and adjust proposed changes.
A good cleaning plan should specifically state which field to modify, what to change, and what the expected result looks like.
Create a plan
In the Cleaning tab, select the current data table and click Create new plan. The system recommends initial cleaning steps based on diagnostic results.
You can also start from a blank plan and manually add the cleaning steps you need.
Plan steps
Each step includes an operation type (such as fill missing values, change type, delete duplicate rows), target field, and parameters.
Steps are executed in order. If a step depends on the results of a previous step, ensure the order is correct.
Edit a plan
Before execution, you can edit the steps in the plan. Change parameters, add new steps, or remove steps you do not need.
Save the plan after editing. You can reopen it anytime for further modifications.
