Generate a report

Learn how to select a template, edit report content, and preview a report.

IMD can generate structured reports based on data table content. Select or customize a template, then generate a report containing data summaries and charts.

Generated reports are saved in the project output folder where you can download or share them.

Select a template

Choose a report template from the available template list. Different templates suit different types of reports such as data overviews, issue analysis, or trend reports.

If you need custom formatting, you can edit the report after generation.

Edit content

After generating a report, you can edit text content, add or replace charts, and adjust layout.

The editing function allows you to modify various parts of the report to better suit your needs.

Preview a report

Before saving or exporting, use the preview function to see the actual report.

If the preview does not match expectations, you can return to editing for adjustments.
