Check data issues
Learn how to run diagnostics, view the issue list, and prioritize issues.
Before creating a cleaning plan, use the diagnostic tool to check for issues in the data. Diagnostics can identify common problems such as missing values, type errors, and inconsistent categories.
Based on the severity of the issue and its impact on your analysis, determine which issues need priority handling.
Run diagnostics
Choose to run diagnostics from the tool menu or toolbar. Diagnostics analyze the current table and generate an issue list.
If the table is large, diagnostics may take some time to complete. You can continue other work in the background while waiting.
View issues
After diagnostics complete, issues are displayed in the issue panel. Each issue includes field name, issue type, and severity.
Click an issue to see more details and suggested handling approaches.
Prioritize issues
Prioritize based on the impact on analysis. Issues with key fields that affect analysis results should be handled first.
Do not try to fix everything at once. Start with the most important issues and complete cleaning gradually.
