Current table context
Learn how to provide table context to AI, field context, and switch context.
Where the app provides context, attach or rely on the current table context. Table name, field names, types, and sample values help the model avoid generic answers.
If the answer seems unrelated, restate the table and field names explicitly. Context can change when you switch tables or conversations.
Table context
After opening a data table, IMD automatically passes the table name, field names, and types to AI. This information helps AI understand the data you are viewing.
If AI responses are not specific, check whether the table context was loaded correctly.
Field context
After selecting a field, IMD passes that field's name, type, and sample values to AI. This is especially useful when analyzing specific fields.
Naming the field in your question leads to more accurate answers.
Switch context
When switching to a different data table, AI context updates to the new table's information. Previous conversation content may no longer apply to the new table.
If you want to continue the previous topic, restate the relevant table and field names.
